The Select Group To Open Boston Office Next Month

Sheldon Wolitski, founder and CEO of The Select Group, an IT and engineering recruiting firm headquartered in Raleigh, has announced that the company will expand into the Boston market with a new office. The office, which will open April 1, will employ five to 10 staff members and plans to add another five in the next several months.

Marc Brodeur, formerly of the company’s main office in Raleigh, will lead the Boston branch. Employees joining him include Tim Harper, Trevor King, Brett Rickley and Jessica Sears.

The Select Group has U.S. locations from coast to coast, selectively expanding since the firm was launched in Raleigh in 1999. A key goal for The Select Group has been to establish a presence in major U.S. metropolitan locations with robust IT and engineering sectors. The Boston office represents the latest opportunity for the staffing company to further that goal.

“We are consistently looking into other markets where we need to expand. We found that Boston provided an excellent opportunity for us to hit a market in need of IT staffing solutions,” Wolitski says. “We serve all types of companies with a technical presence and hope to expand on existing customer relationships and create new ones in the IT and engineering sectors through this expansion.”
