Raleigh Pitchin for Wishes Charity Cornhole Tournament

The Select Group (TSG) announced that they are officially partnering with Andrew Roby to sponsor Raleigh’s first ever Pitchin’ for Wishes Cornhole Tournament benefiting Make-A-Wish® Eastern NC. The charity event will take place at Midtown Park in North Hills on Saturday, September 13th, 2014 from 11 am – 4 pm with registration beginning at 10 am.

TSG is an award winning staffing firm specializing in IT and Engineering professionals. CEO Sheldon Wolitski comments on the upcoming event, “Social responsibility is hugely important here at TSG. Andrew Roby is a custom residential contractor that services the Carolinas and specializes in new homes and renovations. Over the last 6 years, the Andrew Roby Charlotte Division has raised over $500,000 for local charities including Make-A-Wish® Central & Western NC through the success of this tournament. In 2014, Make-A-Wish® will grant the wishes of 200 terminally ill children. However, there are 200 additional children within the Eastern NC community waiting for their wishes to be granted. On average, each wish costs around $7,500. The goal for Raleigh’s inaugural event is $50,000.

TSG will make a donation to Make-A-Wish®, as well as pay the entry fee on behalf of any customer and employee that attends. The company is also encouraging employees to build teams and find sponsors in order to make the event a success.
