Backstory
A large wireless network operator experiencing major growth was running out of capacity on major optical routes in their network. As they were standing up their 5G network, they experienced a need to manage the transport engineering services on their current network including circuit provisioning for TDM, ethernet, and dark fiber services, capacity planning, and Tier 2 engineering services.
Solution
The client sought the help of TSG to begin overbuilding their network to assist with network growth, as well as provide transport engineering services. TSG provided RCAT (Remote Commission and Test) engineering services including managing the ACD (Automated Call Distributer), and remotely commissioning, provisioning, testing, and troubleshooting equipment. TSG worked with the client to migrate their existing database of circuit records to a new internal system.
